Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies: These easy-to-make chocolate cookies have the pudginess of a brownie and the taste of a cookie
Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies
This chocolate chip cookie brownie fusion will blow your socks off! It’s a brownie with more flour added, creating a fudgy cookie with a soft top. Can you see the chocolate inside? Amazing.
It’s one of those little inventions in the kitchen where you put the sheet pan in the oven and continue praying for the recipe to work. You should’ve seen my face when I opened the oven. “Yipee! It worked”
The secret is to start with delicious quality chocolate. It will make or break your recipe. I started with these Cookies with semi-sweet Ghirardelli. Use the brand of your choice, as long as you know it’s good. My favorite part is the crinkly top just like brownies have.
These Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies are made with chocolate and then baked with chocolate chips and walnuts. The chips don’t melt entirely and the walnuts add a delicious crunchy texture. If you’re not a fan of nuts just omit them. If you’re a chocoholic, then this recipe is for you.
I am so proud of these pillowy fudgy cookies. The cookie dough is runnier than usual but they turn out perfect. I made 10 to try out and since they came out so perfect
I made 20 more. 2 hours later they were completely gone. My husband calls them Crownies but I prefer the name Brookies.
For this recipe, I used semi-sweet chocolate chips but you may use your favorite chocolate bar cut up in pieces.
