Instant Pot Pasta With Sausage and Spinach
Don’t you just love quick meals?
Throw a bunch of ingredients in a pot and magically a delicious meal comes out.
Well, look no further.
The instant pot can cook a mean spaghetti dish that is flavorful, easy, and ready in no time.
Come on… admit it, this Instant Pot Pasta With Sausage and Spinach looks so good that you want to dig your fork in.
If it was me, I’d order this dish in a restaurant.
Not a fan of sausage?
No problem! Use chicken cubes, or ground beef, or omit it and make it a vegetarian meal. This recipe can be easily customizable to your taste buds.
Also, choose your favorite sausage brand. I do not eat pork, so I chose an Italian sausage made out of beef. If you like it spicy, buy spicy sausage and toss in some red pepper flakes for additional heat.
Another plus of one-pot meals is that cleanup is a breeze and you don’t have to spend all day scrubbing pans.
Ready to make it? Then let’s get started!
I start by sautéing the sausage, onions, and seasonings. That’s where the flavor and aroma develop. Gotta love my IP
Then I add my liquids and spaghetti. If your pasta does not fit in the pot, simply cut them in half
Close the lid and pressure cook for 5 minutes.
Finally, after letting all the pressure out, I toss in my spinach.
Voila! There you have it, a quick, easy and delicious one pot meal in 15 minutes or less.
