Quick Jelly Donut Recipe
Hanukkah is here and it’s the Holiday that we celebrate the Miracle of the oil.. In honor of that miracle, we eat fried foods such as Latkes and Donuts.
This Quick Jelly Donut Recipe takes 5 minutes to prepare and 6 minutes to get in my belly. Easy, delicious, and fast <::::: My kind of dessert.
I love to make them in tiny form and serve them in a big bowl so everybody can help themselves. I always think that when you serve a dessert in miniature, people are likely to eat more of it.
If you place those big ol’ jelly donuts on a platter, your guests will cut it in half or not eat them at all. My Jewish family is not part of the stereotype.
You don’t need to wait for Hanukkah to make up a batch. They are so easy and quick that you can make them anytime.
Perfect for a kid’s birthday parties and celebrations. And of course, they can be filled with jelly, Nutella, Dulce de Leche, Biscoff spread, or any other sweet spread you can think of.
I chose the jelly that comes in a squeeze bottle. It made less mess in my kitchen.
With this Quick Jelly Donut Recipe, there’s no yeast, kneading, or mixing. It’s so simple and delicious. Topped with powdered sugar to give them a touch of elegance and sweetness. Here’s how I did it:
As you can see, I bought refrigerated biscuits that come in a can. Sliced each biscuit into 4 and shaped into a ball. I then fried those balls and filled them up with jelly.
For easy filling, I used one of those “flavor injector” that they sell for turkeys, minus the needle of course. Finally, the donuts are dusted with powdered sugar.
Hope you can try this Quick Jelly Donut Recipe at home and let me know how they come out.

I made these today. What a great idea to use biscuit dough. I even purchased a flavour injector and used it without the tip like you did to get the jelly in. Made 40 as there were ten biscuits in carton. They are shook delicious. Thank you for this time saving recipe.

Hi,
What do you think about baking these? I know oil is central to Hanukkah, but I work in a special education class and hot oil really poses a hazard. However, would love to make the with our students.
Thanks!

you can bake them but it will taste more like a biscuit than a donut
