Slow Cooker Smokey Beef Stew Recipe
Even though is not cold in Miami, Winter is the time to use the slow cooker. It creates satisfying and comfortable dishes with minimum prep, like this easy Slow Cooker Smokey Beef Stew Recipe. A bowl of this will warm your heart and soul.
I love this dinner because of how complex the flavor is. Since it has smoked paprika it gives a deep flavor to the beef. The fact that is slow-cooked makes it easy and does not require any additional steps. Simply toss everything in there and let it cook until the meat and potatoes are tender.
The sauce is so delicious and it’s not heavy at all. Since this dish doesn’t have any thickeners, the sauce holds up a nice texture. I was pleasantly surprised that my daughters gobbled everything up without protesting. I serve it with bread or crackers on the side so it can absorb the beautiful sauce.
The potatoes were halved so they could cook alongside the beef. The carrots were thrown in at the last minute just to heat up, that way they don’t get mushy. Here’s what you need to make this Slow Cooker Smokey Beef Stew Recipe
Most of these ingredients you probably have them at home. If not, they are easily found at your local store. I highly recommend this dish because it’s so comforting and delicious that the beef just melts in your mouth.
If you’re a busy mom like me, then this recipe is for you. Simply toss everything in the slow cooker in the morning and have it waiting for you at dinner time.
