Acai Bowl With Berries And Dragonfruit
Power up your morning with this delicious and nutritious Acai Bowl loaded with berries, dragonfruit, and pistachios. This bowl is a masterpiece in itself. A kaleidoscope of beautiful colors that even kids will want to eat.
A tasty bowl of acai in the morning and I promise you won’t be hungry until dinnertime. I honestly could have this for lunch and dinner as well.
The bottom is cold and creamy like an ice cream while the top is crunchy, soft and tangy. The dragon fruit gives it a fresh and different flavor.
Of course, this recipe is completely customizable. You can add or omit any ingredient you may like or have on hand. Add some coconut, kiwi, mango, granola, oatmeal, nuts or your favorite fruits.
The frozen unsweetened acai puree is easily found in the freezer section of your supermarket or natural food store. They usually come in pre-measured packs so you don’t have to guess how much you need. I always have it on hand in case I’m craving a smoothie.
The flowers are edible too!
This acai bowl is full of vitamins and antioxidants. I added the new Cacique Yogurt Smoothies as the liquid component of this bowl because it gives it another 8 grams of protein, real fruit, probiotics and of course calcium.
I love eating mine in the morning and it gives me plenty of energy throughout the day. Usually, healthy foods tend to be boring but even picky kids will love the gorgeous dark purple color and the decoration of fruits.
My daughters loved making personalizing theirs by making their designs.
I hope you can try this delicious Acai Bowl at home. If you do, please upload a pic on Instagram and tag me @Livingsweetmoments or use the hashtag #LivingSweet. I promise to repost it.
