Baby Black Forest Parfaits

These delicious baby black forest parfaits are super easy to make, don’t require baking and are the perfect little dessert to serve on Holidays and parties. Even if you’re not a baker or a non experienced cook, you can make this recipe in no time and it’ll be a guaranteed success.

I got these little mason jars the other day and LOVE them. There are so many things you can do/store with them. Plus they make a really presentation for desserts. Each guest can enjoy their own mini dessert. So cute!

Now that the holiday season is close, I’m sure there will be lot’s of parties, pot lucks and get togethers. These Baby Black Forest Parfaits are just the perfect dessert to serve without slaving in the kitchen the entire day. Who doesn’t love cherry and chocolate? They are a match made in heaven.

Also, these guys can be made for a romantic dinner as well. The recipe is enough for 2 jars. If you want to make some more, simply double or triple the amount of ingredients needed.

These Baby Black Forest Parfaits remind me of my wedding. There was table decorated entirely of fresh cherries. My friends and family called it the wedding of the cherries since there were so many. So every time I make a recipe using that ingredient it gives me nostalgia and a warm feeling inside.

Ingredients
  • 4 Oreo Cookies crushed into crumbs
  • 1/2 Cup Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1/2 Cup Cool Whip Topping
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk Chocolate shavings
Instructions
  1. Divide cookie crumbs evenly between 2 small mason Jars
  2. Spoon ¼ c each of the pie filling into each jar
  3. Spoon ¼ c each of the whipped topping on top of pie filling
  4. Using a grater, shave approximately 1 Tablespoon each of chocolate over the whipped topping to
  5. serve
  6. Enjoy
