Gingerbread Holiday Fudge
There’s nothing I love more than sipping hot coffee and eating fudge right from the tin. It’s a guilty pleasure that I look forward to all year long. This time I decided to give my treat a nice makeover and shaped them into gifts. Don’t they look cute?
My Gingerbread Holiday Fudge is soft, chewy and decadent with the spicy flavor of cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and ginger. Wouldn’t you rather take a bite out of this than eating a man-shaped cookie? Feels less cannibalistic to me.
These guys are super easy to make and definitely a job to do with kids. Let them assemble their own, add their sprinkles, etc.
I could easily spend all afternoon with my girls listening to holiday music and making this fudge. We’ll be giving them out to their teachers and soccer coaches. A homemade gift is much more thoughtful and personal. They can even add their favorite colors or sprinkles.
Honestly, when I pictured the idea in my head I had no idea how to conceive it. I tried many items to resemble the strings of the gift including that famous red long candy leftover from Halloween. Nothing worked until I found red cookie icing that comes in a bag.
For the bow part, you can either make it out of icing, fondant or heart shaped sprinkles. Since I am not very crafty (due to being lefty), I found bow shaped icing decorations in my local craft store. All I had to do is stick it on top of my icing and voila!
The inspiration behind this yummy Gingerbread Holiday Fudge came to me while I was sipping the new New England Coffee Gingerbread Cookie Winter Seasonal Flavor.
It has amazing taste, delicious aroma, and it’s just so soothing. A sip of this coffee and instantly I’m in a good mood.
I hope you can try this delicious Gingerbread Holiday Fudge at home. If you do, please upload a pic on Instagram and tag me @Livingsweetmoments or use the hashtag #LivingSweet. I promise to repost it.
